2011 Mustang 5.0L Runs 10.58@127MPH - On The Bumper!

I threw this video together in 30 mins, so it's not one of my better ones, but it's still pretty good and viewable in 1080P HD!

10.58@127MPH with 1.42 60ft.

125 Shot + Slicks + Front Cobra Imola S Race Seats + The Driver Mod + Dialing In The Suspension = 1.40 60ft's and the bumper almost touching the ground when launching....

What's your best run without NAWWWS and on OEM tires?

Another great run, well done!

We would like to see the car with full bolt-ons without Nitrous on the strip.

Evo, are those front wheels over the stock Brembos? Or did you swap down to some Wilwoods or something?

Evo,

Let us know the weight of the car in this run and the weight of the car from new if possible.

I'm arguing with couple of my friends over here; they say that the car is considerably lightened! I want to prive the opposite to them.

Completely stock, it weighed 3,820lbs with driver. Evolution reduced weight by adding 15'' bogarts, skinnies, slicks, racing driver's seat, and racing passenger seat. During the 10.88 runs I think they also had 1/4 tank of gas.

Even if the gas tank was full during the 10.58 run also, I think the car probably has a raceweight of about 3,680lbs. If it was still a 1/4 tank, then I would estimate the raceweight to be very close to 3,600lbs.

My completely stock 2011 5.0 was 3695 with 145lb driver. Its a 300A base GT with 19 inch wheels, Brembo's and 6spd manual trans. If I were to run Bogarts I would drop 100lbs easy and if I were to put a drag suspension on it, remove the Brembo's, drop the cats and heavy driveshaft I gaurantee you I could get down to 3300lbs. Use a Lightweight seat, as has been done, remove the passenger seat, as has been done also and your most likely looking at 3100lbs in race trim.

I agree and was very suprised to see my GT come in at 3695 with me in it. That was on MIR's scales and I plan on scaling it everywhere that I race it.

Hopefully others will do so as well.
