Anybody on here running a Pypes Axle back with an x/h pipe? I have the axle back now, and am considering an x or h-pipe, but I would like to hear how loud it is first.

To answer your question, it is loud. I have 3 inch Bullets as resonators, so it is not absurd. It sounds glorious, but I find it a bit too loud for DD use. I use it at the track. It will turn heads for 100 yards. I have an X pipe, no cats.
Here is another one I tried, regular old Flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series, welded into the stock axleback. The classic tin can sound:

I don't like drone or rasp sound, I'm divided between these axle backs:
Kook, GT500 without resonators (great price) & the Hushpower
Ive heard kooks and they sound great but if you plan on any headers or midpipes they get really loud. The hushpowers to me just dont translate the power this motor has. Borka s-types are IMO the best out there

Borla type-S, they might be great, but they are really expensive, out of my budget. Maybe Kook's could be an option because I don't think that I will upgrade to headers or midpipes, and the GT500 axle backs without resonators are very tempting because of their great price and sound. Maybe Kook's are louder than the GT500's. But I see that for some reason, that Kook's users are very few, almost you can not find any information about them on the web.

i cant decide between the borla S and the gt500 quad tips ...i love the look of the gt500 dual tips on each side but im afraid they may be to quiet .. the borla S sound awesome and love the deep throaty sound. If the gt500 dual tips were a bit louder it wouldnt even be a question. How do you think the sound will be if i delete the resonators?

It's FRPP's sport version mufflers with quad tips. Does anyone have a sound clip of these?
