Dammit... still undecided. I want to get axle backs and do not want to spend more than $500. Was set on the Roush, but there are a ton of people with them rusting out quickly. I then looked at the Magnaflow Competition but heard there is too much drone on highway. Then looked at the stock GT500 ones, which sound great, but the tips look cheap.
What to get that sounds meaner than stock and also looks better than stock, for under $500? Guess I need to go look at those videos again, revisit the vendors and check out their axle backs.

the kooks look great but the sound is very sedated unless WOT. The Borla S seems to be a favorite around here. Also MangnaFLow just released a new Axle back for the RTR looks great and has a very deep throaty sound.

Edit: I'm going to stop being cheap and either go Borla or Ford Racing. Only a couple hundred more and I'll get looks and sound.

hope you like them. Kooks is quality stuff. the axle backs are very fairly priced too. Ive been to there factory it is a top notch facility, there customer service is outstanding. i really cant say enough about the experiences ive had with kooks and there products.

I Have No Life
Borla S types hands down. I thought my gt500s were good...for a year I lived with it. just got these Tuesday last week. I have a thread in this section. Can't beat borla quality and tone. Well worth the $.
