2011 GT Dyno Video

Here is a dyno video for our 2011 GT.

Power mods include SCT tune, Steeda CAI, and SW full exhaust.

Dyno is Mustang Dyno.

What do you think of the power?

Do you think the torque is a bit low?

Thank you

I would say that 408 HP is about right since Mustang Dynos read lower than Dynojets.

Also no open hood to give inflated or convoluted numbers with the CAI

I was trying to find a similar car on a Mustang Dyno, but the only one I found had Kooks only, and made 390's

can't remember if we ran with open hood for this car, but other cars see 2-5% increase in power with open hood.

Thank you All

Loaded dyno such as mustang will always read low. Some dyno op will adjust to make it similar to high reading dynojet, but I seen some dynojet that read low too.

without seeing the rest of the data from the run its hard to make a judgement call....

overall it looks good, this thing must plant you back in the seat pretty good at around 4500rpm (on the throttle)

it would be nice to see the A/F mix, exhaust temp and total timing advance chart for the run.

one thing does concern me is the dip in torque @ about 4800rpm. Is that a shift, or did the car pull timing for a moment or did the car lose traction on the front roller of the dyno? -- all speculation without data

either way 408 on a Mustang dyno is a win.... probably would have seen another 15-20hp on a DynoJet.

Could be the maintenance or different settings.

I will get the a/f reading and change how the graph is displayed.

The car ran 12.1 with only a tune and CAI.
