If those are the upgraded 19" wheels, you will find the over-all tire diameter is around 271/2". If you go with 255/40/19 tires, the diameter is 27". This will give 1/4" more gap inthe wheel wells. Or if you prefer 18' wheels, then a 275/40/18 tire gives you 26.6". Now your gap increases to 1/2". A little too much in my estimation. But will satisfy those who want more gap. Go with what ever you like, not what others prefer. Looks great to me as is.

I wouldn't worry the alignment bit. Look at the car from the rear, maybe 10-15 feet back. If it looks centered, that's good enough. Most cars, if measured, won't be bang on right from the factory in any case. Remember that wider tires may show any discrepancy more. Then you may want the adjustable panhard.

Cheers.

I love the look. It is my ideal height that I wanted to acheive but I got screwed on my springs. I was told these were the other FRRP springs. I believe they are the "foose" spring set.

Just looking at the pictures I can tell you do...The axle appears shifted to left quite a bit judging from the spacing I see on the right side... I only dropped an inch and needed one..

I've also got the FRPP 1.5" springs. Love them.

I agree it must be that the pictures were taken on a slope because as you can see mine doesn't have it's butt hanging on the ground.

I often find that you can soften the blow of unnecessary brutal honesty by following the rude comment with "...bless his heart" or beginning with "no offense, but...". Try it in everyday conversation!;P - "That is the ugliest baby I have ever seen, bless his heart." or "No offense, but were you on drugs when you picked that color?"

Seriously, the Kona lowered is sick, and the original poster's lowered 5.0 is also sick. How can anyone find fault with it? A bad picture can make a Ferrari look awkward.

Beautiful car! I'm a big fan of the 1.5" drop! I'd highly recommend some lower control arm relocation brackets for the rear. UMI Performance has the brackets and solid LCAs for $200... made a huge difference in how my car handles.

Good luck moving forward. I've been hoping to keep the stock wheels, but they just set so far in. I'm not sure what I'll do myself. Everyone and his mom has RTR wheels, so I'll have to look at my options. Likely won't make a move until these are bald anyway.

Have you considered spacers (1/2 in.)? I'm totally happy with mine! Moves the wheels out and the tires have a wider appearance, and it doesn't look cheezy imo.

I have, but haven't been able to find any "budgeted" enough to justify getting them. Where did you get yours? Got a link?

But if you saw my other post,https://themustangsource.com/f726/st...pacers-486990/

They are actually a DRM series. I wasn't overly impressed with this company, so you may want to google to find one.
