Roushcharger, Ford Racing Suspension and Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust...
Will cost about $8K to have installed on my 2010 GT by an authorized dealer and keep factory 3/36 warranty in effect. With those mods, will I have the equivalent to or slightly better than 2011 5.0?
I'll have a bit of a horsepower advantage, probably a bit better suspension, and the exhaust is just sound preference. If I spent no more than $8K, I'm good to go with my 2010 GT, but with any more mods, I'm better off to trade my '10 for an '11 GT Premium stock. If I do all those mods, I'll have
$37K in my 2010 GT Premium. A new 5.0 with all options would be about the same price, but I'd have to suck up $4K in negative equity in a trade. Thoughts?

The flows can be had for way less than $500 for sure, suspension kit depends on which one, and I have found the Roush blower for $4300 with free shipping.
$1000 is a tad high for the blower install, I would say $800 would be fair but guess it depends on who is doing it for you.
As far as whether to trade for a 2011 or not, I say that you already have the 2010 and modding the car is fun and an adventure, so keep the '10 and have a blast!
But be a sharp and shrewd shopper, don't spend more than is necessary.

Which Roush Charger are you getting? my local dealer is selling the M90 kit for $4330..... I believe Yates Performance also has it for that price

I recommend the Saleen Series VI with a custom tune from either Brenspeed or JDM Engineering, way more options on this blower for a stock bottom end motor with plenty of upgrades for lots more power later on if you get a built motor. The Saleen is a 2.3 liter blower too and it is a Lysholm rotor pack like is used in the Whipple.

Ltngdrvr, you are the man! $700 off the M90 with free shipping--that's almost $900 bucks less than the Roush website. So here's where I'm at: M90 Charger, Roush "Off Road" Exhaust System, and Roush Stage 3 Suspension Package, $6100 delivered, another $1500 to have installed by a Roush certified dealership (keeps my warranty 100% intact).
With new wheels and tires somewhere down the line, I'll essentially have the performance of a 427R for about 15-20K less than the real thing, right?

Has anyone ever ordered anything from Yatesperformance.com? Their prices are SO good that it makes me wonder if it is a scam site. The site has that "fuzzy" look and their is no phone number to be found anywhere. Additionally, I called Roush Performance in Livonia, MI, and they said the only Yates "official" website they distribute to is roushyatesengines.com or something like that.
I'm ready to pull the trigger on the blower and Stage 3 Suspension package on Yatesperformance.com, but it won't be much of a deal if it's a scam. Any additional information would be helpful.

I had the same dilemma! I was not as bad off as you with the negative $4000 in equity, but still gave away a lot in the trade. Plus I would have wanted to put new wheels and tires on the 2010 for another $1800 so I was looking at having about $10,000 put into it with supercharger, suspension, exhaust and wheels & tires. The new 2011 has everything I want in it. So I ordered it on 4/9/10!!!
