Power Adders

I Know we are few in numbers, especially with the amazing 5.0 out. But how many of you 4.6L '10 owners out there are running a turbo or supercharger set up? Please share what you got...

There's a Grabber GT with the Roush M90 on here. Other than that, I think there's one or two more 2010 GTs with Whipple/Roushchargers on here...

I don't think so. I would have loved to own a 2010, even with the stock 315hp. It would have been more than enough car for me. Then maybe a few years down the road, I would have added a SC, but I think a good tune, CAI and exhaust would have satisfied me. Maybe the FRPP Hot Rod Cams...

just to keep this thread alive . . .

yeah, the 315 HP is plenty for me for now, but someday I hope to add my name to the membership of the Power Adders club! (basic supercharger would be more than enough for me)

I'm happy with the power in mine too, but I'm currently saving for a supercharger. I've always wanted a supercharged Mustang. I'd love to get a Kenne Bell or Whipple, but I think the Roush M90 will be enough for me and is a lot cheaper at the same time.

Hopefully you'll be able to buy a less expensive intake manifold to fit all the take off SC from gt500s on the 4.6. Maybe by next spring stay tuned.

My GT with its mods, already is the fastest car I have ever owned and has an adequate amount of power. But putting a blower on it would be to cool. The question is.... is the cost worth the occasional extra grin. If I ever find myself with a 7K wind fall, I may find out.

I believe there used to be a intake adapter for the 2v 4.6 to let you use M112/Whipple/KB from the 03-04 Cobras. I know there is one for the 3.8 to use those (I plan on getting one). I think there was a company working on a 3v 4.6 adapter for the Shelby M122 superchargers...

The Ford dealer I work for sold a white '10 GT last year and the customer had us install the FRPP 550hp polished supercharger (whipple). With custom dyno tuning (HP Ranch in Maple Valley, WA), it put down 519 rwhp on a Mustang dyno (much stingier than a Dynojet dyno). We also installed FRPP's complete handling package, aftermarket clutch, 20" wheels/tires, Brembo/GT500 front brake upgrade, etc. This car's owner isn't online, but I'll have to take some pics of his car to post.
