Need help choosing the right wheel size for my '10

Ok, I have been looking at some wheels and have been leaning towards getting some wheels that are 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. The car has its stock 19x8.5 wheels on right now...

Heres the problem, some people say the 18's are too small and to go for the 20's

and

Others say 20's are too big (including myself) and the 18's would perform much better.

Which would you choose?

18"-20" looks good on the new stang to me. Especially since your car is lowered a bit. Which wheels were you looking at getting?

I assume you have the nickel luster rims now?

18''s for performance, 20"'s for looks. Take your pick.

I think your tire choices will be greater & more cost effective with 18's

I was thinking of doing the 18x9, 18x10 sve 10th annivesary arthrocite colored rims

or the 2008gt500 set of rims, I want my car to look stock from all aspects, but need a wider wheel in the rear and since these 19's dont come in a 19x10 for the rear I must do the 18's

check these out. They're replicas of the same stock rims you have and they come in 19x10 http://www.americanmuscle.com/hyperc...9x10-0510.html

They also have chrome and black finishes

Don't waste your money then I doubt it would be an exact match.

I wonder how those 10th aniv. wheels would look on your car....

You can ask someone to photshop them for you in the photoshop section here...

Do you like these? http://www.americanmuscle.com/blackc...8x10-9404.html

I thought about getting the american muscle replicas but I don't like them that much anymore. I would only buy the authentic ones now. Is FRPP selling them yet?

OP, do you like the Steeda Ultralights? I think they may be my favorite wheel of moment . A guy on here who has a black 05 has them on his car and they look really good and OEM in my opinion.

Here's a link to the 18x10 ones, which happen to be on sale ATM! http://www.steeda.com/products/ultra_lite_satin_05.php. They come in 18x9 and 18x10 and I think the Satin Silver ones look pretty similar to the standard GT 18s. You can also get tires from Steeda and have them ready to throw on when they get there.

Another choice is the Pentastars, which kinda remind me of a mix between the 03-04 Cobra 5-spokes and the 2010+ GT500 wheels: http://www.steeda.com/products/pentar_silver_05.php - I think they only come in 18x9.5 though.

Just run 3/4" spacers on all four stock rims which will put them even with the edges of the fenders and have the rears widened out to 10.5". You can run a 255 on the front and a 295-305 on the rear. And it would still look stock.....ish.

Or if you want a smokin' deal on 2007-2009 GT500 rims and tires check this guy out.

If you like the SVE tenth anniversary replicas then go to Falken tires website, that is what they are running on their 2011 Mustang test car. There is a vid on youtube too I believe.

They don't look bad, the only thing I don't like about them is that the 9" fronts don't have a deep dish lip and the 10" rears do, I think that makes them look unbalanced.
