I'm getting ready to upgrade my exhaust on my 2010 GT it has a manual trans.

Question? What is some of the best sounding mufflers out there? I like it loud.

What kind of mufflers do you have / recommend.

I looking at Flowmaster, Dynomax & Magnaflow. Anything else?

Since these are so expensive on my budget I want to spend my money once. So something between $400 to $550.

I got magnaflows magnapack 3" cat back. Enjoyed the sound and it was fairly deep and throaty. Now I also added kooks longtube headers which kinda adds to it all but I was happy with the magnaflows. Still am.

 

I run SLP Loudmouths and love them.

 

I like the way the Roush Extreme sound as well as the Magnaflow magnapak sound. Give us a shout if you need anything, we're running killer deals on exhaust all month long

 

+1 on that! The Roush extreme is loud!!

Bassani is the best for the 4.6s. I have their catback and catted X on my 03 GT. Also, don't be afraid to look at used. You can get a much better deal on someone selling their car and parting it out.

 

I love my setup. It's quiet when cruising but rips and is very loud when you get on it. Took me a while to find the right set up for the 3V but I finally have it.

 

Is anyone running the Roush catback exhaust with an o/r x pipe or headers?

 

They are in the 5.0 section, and frankly I don't see how haha!

 

Roush catback exhaust is only for 4.6. Why would it be on 5.0 thread

 

They run the Roush A/Bs, and even then they're too loud.

 

Lol I know this is a 4.6 post but just to comment, I do run the Roush AB, Long Tube Headers and an O/R X pipe on my 5.0. If its any consolation, it is extremely loud at WOT, but when you drive very easily down the road with minimal throttle input, in my neighborhood for example, it's no louder than just the AB itself which I didn't think was too loud anyway. At least I don't think it is lol. Then again I may have made myself deaf driving next to retaining walls at full throttle....
