2010 4.6 headers

Hello. I just ordered a set of BBK ceramic tuned length headers. I wanted to just get some thoughts on going this route. The car is a 4.6l with cams,Roush CAI, flow master axle back exhaust. I know going LT is better but I was scared they would bottom out I have the eibach sportlines suspension kit installed. Not looking to drag the car just looking for a little more pep. The question is good idea or bad choice????

good choice.. LT's are expensive, hard to install and sometimes bottom. That is not enough for me to make a few more hp over the short tubes

I have the bbk long tube with x pipe and high flow cats with flow master cat backs and it really sounds good. I'm happy with it

shorties are minimal gains at best.. LT's are the way to go. i did tons of research on this subject before pulling the trigger..check out my setup. I'm at about 330/340 now.. I've also recently added mbrp axleback to my setup and it's a great addition.

Great feed back

Yea I knew the gains would be less than the LTs but like I stated I'm on the ground I don't wanna spend all that money just to ruin them on the first speed bump. The car is cammed I was just wanting to let her breath and maybe gain a little deeper sound a few extra ponies is always a plus though.

Not really sure I work overseas so not really to much time to enjoy it. I plan on getting on the Dino soon.
