Thanks for Saving My Life, "Silver Bullet"
I was the proud owner of a 2010 silver Mustang convertible (I nicknamed the Silver Bullet). Unfortunately, recently, I was involved in a car accident (don't ask) and totaled it. The seat belt and air bag saved my life. The other party, a Jeep Liberty, had very minor damage.
I was sad for a few days, but thankfully have good insurance. "You can always replace a car, but not a person . . "
The adjustor was more than fair, so I got the 2010 paid off and have enough left over to put down on a new car and get some home renovations done.
Long story short: I take delivery of a 2014 sterling gray Mustang convertible V6 Premium in two days! It comes with pony package and comfort package. I didn't have heated seats or the pony side mirror lighting on the 2010, so cool beans.
I will miss the Silver Bullet, but look forward to the Sterling Gray Mustang, a new nickname, and another photo shoot with my wife (she was my girlfriend in 2010 and is pictured in my profile picture shot and in avatar, ahem) It was her idea in 2010 for me to get a Mustang, and not a Camaro. Thank God I took her advice! Camaro's . . . What was I doing even thinking about them? Thank you, Angie for straightening me out!
No, this is not the preferred way to get a newer car, as my chest bruising and back pain suggest, but I can't wait to have a newer pony.

Sad--and I am lucky to be alive. However, thanks to a great insurance company (the accident was my fault), the 2010 was paid off, and I got a enough $$$ from the adjustor for my 2010 that I now have a beautiful Sterling Gray 2014 convertible and my rates remain the same! . . . and with enough leftover $ for some home renovations (a new front porch).
Photos coming soon of "Gun Smoke" and yes, no more accidents--thank you!
