Sterling Gray on The Dragon

Will post more as I get them. Enjoy!

Yeah, yeah, don't mind the "Z" or the plate frame. I was there with my 370Z Owner's Club for ZDayZ (former Z owner). Just having some fun.

Good looking car. I wouldn't mind viewing that, too.

Looks like you had fun. How did your Mustang do compared to the Z's?

Totally stock suspension -- in my signature FRPP Sports refers to the axle back, I guess I should clarify that a bit.

Very well. I did the drive last year with my 370Z so I have a good feel for how the two cars compare. The Z feels more nimble and sports-car like, however the Brembo Mustang has a better balance (the Z has a ton of understeer built into it to make it "safer" for the masses) and the Pirelli PZero summers offer excellent grip and feedback. I was definitely faster this year than I was last, and part of that is due to the car for sure. Stock for Stock I have no doubt the Brembo Mustang is faster than the 370Z w/ sport package on any track short of an auto-cross, where I think the short wheelbase on the Z would help it significantly.

Here's a video chasing the fastest 370 in our group. He's running KW V3 coilovers and Bridgestone RE-11s. Mind you we both aren't pushing at maximum, but we were going at a pretty good clip and I had no problem staying with him. I think if I drove his Z followed by my 5.0 I would be faster with his Z -- those KWs and RE-11s are an awesome combination.

The both of us walked away from the rest of the group of 370s behind us.

If you guys go to my Youtube channel you can find all of my videos from ZDayZ 2011. And 2010 if you are interested in watching me do the run in my 370Z. http://www.youtube.com/user/m4a1mustang

Thanks! Keep in mind I also have an X-pipe. The Sports sound totally different with the stock H pipe.

My next-door-cube-mate at work is a big Z fan.
He goes up every year for that.
There's also another Z fan here with a 370Z that he's trying to recruit.
It looks like a lot of fun.
Are those Killboy pics?
Very sharp.

I sent them your pic with the "Z" taped to the gas cap.
Told them this was a former Z owner.

I think these are US129 Photos... the Killboy ones of my car didn't turn out too great.

Funny thing is I am both a former and future Z owner. I want to add a roadster to the stable and am thinking about picking up a 370Z Roadster next year, if the prices are right. They are so much more fun than the coupes.
