Nice perfect example of all you need to have a clean mustang some window tint/nice wheels/suspension drop&spoiler delete very well done sir
edit only thing I would have done is same size tire all around so you could rotate as the wheels are the same size&offset also is that really only an 1" drop all around?

Thanks for the kind words. Yes it is a 1" drop only, and to me it is just perfect. Haven't hit anything so far.

I agree it looks great just seems pretty even for a 1" drop all around instead of 1.5" in back and 1" in front like the rtr cars have. Did you do an adj pan hard bar to even the axle out, and what are the future mod plans now that the important stuff is all done

Dude you've done pretty much exactly what I'm doing. That's awesome.

I have the Sterling on order too and have talked to RTR about the wheels.
I'm also putting on Conti DW's as well. But I'm going with 285/35 in rear.
I've put these tires on two other cars and love them.
I planned on going the FRPP 1" (or Steeda 1" front 1.25" rear) drop as well.

I also have the HID's but the only other difference is I've ordered the stripes on my car and will have the spoiler too.
Looks awesome bro, we were clearly on similar wavelengths when it came to color and mods. LOL

**Edit: Holy crap, I just noticed you listed you have the saddle interior too. I s--t you not, I ordered the saddle interior on mine as well (and Brembo brake package of course). That's amazing we really were on the same plane on this car. BTW, I had Saddle interior on both my BMW 335i's and got so many compliments on it, that's why I ordered it with my 11 GT too. You'll love it and the contrast it gives the interior.

Take a picture from directly behind one of the rear sides.
I want to see how far the rear wheels stick out.
RTR told me the offset was +33
It seemed a bit much to me as I believe the stock 19 x 9 is around 48-50
I want to make sure it doesn't stick out too much. From your pics in this thread so far it's hard to tell. In some angles it looks fine, in others it looks like it may stick out a bit too far though. I was thinking offset of 40 would be ideal on a 19 x 9.5 wheel.

Thanks

Not trying to highjack but I'm running 20mm offset wheels on my 2011 lowered 1" front 2" back 8.5" width so a 9.5 at 33mm is about the same I'll bet with a 275-85 section width lowered it would be pretty much dead even with the fender lip especially since a 35 series will be rounded.
I ran 265/35/20s on my white 2010 lowered 2" 22mm offset wheel 8.5" width no rubbing issues
this is the 11 not lowered lowering it pulled it in some

lowered with tein s-tech springs on stock shocks

2010 lowered with tein s-tech springs on stock shocks

Talked to a few people about any adjustments or alignment, and they all said that i didn't have to do it with these FRPP 1" drop springs.
Steeda CAI and tune on the way, and of couse exhaust.

It sticks out a bit, but to my taste it is just fine. I couldn't go with 285's since John from RTR told me they experienced rubbing issues with lowered cars. I'll try to take the pic tomorrow after work.

Great thanks.
That sucks if there are rubbing with 285/35's on RTR's and the 1" drop.
If so, that validates my only concern with the RTR's and the offset and that is, it should of been around 40 instead of 33.
275/40's seem a bit too tall to me. The 285's are what the GT500 wears and that size seems to look and fit perfectly.

I look forward to the pics, thanks again.

Sorry if I missed it, Dan, but are you running 19 x 9.5's all around?

Your ride has a unique custom look that very nicely seperates it from the rest. Well done.

Yep, that's the RTR's wheel size.
