new GT500 wheels

Just installed a few new parts. Steeda sport springs with Koni STR.T's, Strano's sway bars, and 2010 18 inch GT500 wheels. The car handles so much better. All of the threads I've read on the site weren't lying. Very good ride for a daily driver but not too harsh. So much more control.

I like em. Very nice wheels. What size tires are you running?

I bought the 5.0 resto pkg so they are the nitto 555 series 275 width. They rub slightly in the front full turn so once they need to be replaced probably go to 255.

Great ride, like the spoiler delete. Just wondering why your wheels are rubbing up front while mine are ok with a 1" drop and 275/40 tires !

I hear ya. It is an enigma.

In the older s197s going from GT to V6 i remember some having the same issue.

It could also be the tire manufacturer as they do vary somewhat. Maybe.

Don't the cars that come with 19" wheels have different steering stops? That could explain why 1 rubs and the other doesn't.

Op, the car looks great. I bought those same wheels for winter for my SG Brembo GT.
