Here is my SGM 2014 GT.

Bought this on 8-13-2013. I'm a GM guy but when my fiancée bought herself a 2007 Mustang GT back in 2010, I really fell for these cars. After paying off the house this year, I decided it was time for a new toy.

I traded in my 2004 Monte Carlo SS Dale Jr. edition and became a new Mustang owner.

There were not many choices in colors around here for automatic equipped GT's so I chose the color I liked best which was this gray metallic. My first choice was the GHIG but there were none available and I really didn't want to order a car.

Since buying the car, I have added: Roush AB, Factory GT strut tower brace, Ford rubber all weather floor mats, Ford rubber trunk liner, Ford locking gas plug, UPR oil catch can, and Ford aluminum finned rear axle cover. Here are some pics of the car.

Nice, did you do the AB's and the diff cover yourself?

I did install both of these myself. I think the rear diff cover took longer than the AB's to install.

On the AB's, I took the brackets down that were holding up the factory mufflers and installed the Roush AB's on them and bolted everything back up. The Roush mufflers are a lot smaller than the factory ones so it was easy to bolt everything back up.

I couldn't remove the factory fill plug on my axle. Luckily the new cover has a fill and drain plug so that wouldn't be an issue but I wasn't able to check the level once I got everything bolted back up. I had to buy longer bolts because the factory ones were to short for the new cover. I also used a Lube Locker gasket instead of RTV like the factory used.

The hardest part was putting in the new fluid since there is no room at the top of the differential for the fluid bottle so this part is what took the longest.

The factory fluid amount is 2 quarts plus a bottle of friction modifier. I measured how much fluid I removed and it was right at 2 quarts.

The car had about 3.200 miles on it when I did this and I couldn't believe how gray the factory fluid looked. I was glad I was changing it all out. Here is a picture of the two covers side by side.
