Gray no more!
After selling my A-code '66, I went to buy a new 2011 SG GT. locally there was not one on the lot with the specs I wanted. So I resigend to odering one. Came to find out that new orders are now for 2012 only...AND....Sterling Gray has been discontinued! Ford has added a new color...lava red. And the dealers have no idea what the color looks like at this point. The happy ending to my story is that we found the car I wanted out side my local area and my local dealer was nice enough to make a deal to transfer the car to STL. Folks your Sterling Grey mustangs are now limited! I guess Ford will need to pull all that great 2011 marketing that featured the gray mustang tearing up the streets....that commercial ran in theaters and hooked me.

Dan has the Sterling Gray pony I want!! I am unfortunately an entire country away from stealing his so no worries.
Yes, sterling gray is an incredibly classy and great looking color. Now why I can't get a GT in Competition Orange is beyond me.

There are still a few out there, I had mine shipped from VA to NC. I'm glad I did instead of settling for something less...am curious how the lava red is going to turn out tho. Just had the OTT matte black stripe added and it looks lucious. I think adding the Roush grill will really set it off. Still debating, not sure if it will look right with the stock fascia, everyone who I've seen with the Roush grill also has the CS fascia or Roush fascia. Still trying to find a pic of someone with a stock fascia so I can decide...

Matt, glad to hear that you found a Sterling Gray '11. I just bought my Sterling Gray '11 GT two days ago. The dealer I work for has a few more SG '11's left. I order all of our Mustangs so I ordered extras when I found out it was being replaced with Lava Red.

I apologize for the crappy photos, I don't own a big dollar camera, and the sun was destroying every pic I took. Anyways, here it is. The pics don't do it any justice, so i will make an effort to get a good camera and get some high quality stuff done. Gonna try to get one pic done on the flight line with one of my choppers. Hopefully i don't get chewed out. Anyways, in the last three days my instances of flirtation from female drivers has gone up 1000%, since the stripes were laid on. Cost was $500 for the kit and install.
BTW, don't be hatin on my booster seat in the back. The 5 year that rides in it is GORGEOUS, and she can probably spell better than any of us. Ha ha
