Some days it is really is a chore working with 18-24 year old models that think they are princesses. But all in all I can't complain.

My sgm is getting some serious surgery over at JPC right now. The last pic I took before I dropped it off!

Made a trip to South Padre Island last weekend

Calling all SGM Mustangs!-image-1873671216.jpg

Told the family to pack light, we are taking "April". Wife wasn't to happy, but my daughter and her friend were. Wish I took a pic of the trunk loaded. Used every inch of it. 2 suitcases,2beach bags 1 7"umbrella ,3 boogie boards, small cooler and 2 beach chairs. Glad I mounted the 2 10" subs where the spare is suppose to be. LOL!

Why do you always have to do such awesome things to your car?

Haha idk man. I told myself okay 440 at the wheels is plenty (basic bolt ons). Then I started to go to car meets and shows and although I kept up with most of the cars there there was always that group of cars which no one would mess with. Also, the meets had a lot of rice and all those subies and honda fanboys who think they're car is the fastest thing out there.

I decided to bite the bullet and go twins. I was ***** set on a vmp blower which make great power. But the torque is insane and so instant that I wouldn't be able to hook it at all considering I can't hook 1st or 2nd with just 440. Twins on a v8 is mind blowing to me and you just don't see that often. Guess I wanted to be different. Lol

With twins I feel like I will still make great torque and power but it won't be all at 2k rpms. Also all I will need to rub boost wise is 6psi to make 600 at the wheels vs 10 psi with a tvs. It won't put such a strain on the motor so it will last a bit longer to!

Next year is when the fun will really start. Built bottom end and a t56 magnum are next up and then I can really crank it and make some powaa!

All of that sounds great joey. Just keep us updated and post more pics! That car just keeps getting better and better!!! Looks wise it was already over the top, and then it was performance wise. Then it was even better. I can't wait to see the next steps!

Lastest pics

Spent several days polishing and waxing after installing The CS/BOSS diffuser..thought I would post some more pics. Getting a Roush splitter soon, and thinking of finding a pedestal spoiler.

I keep creeping closer to a CS/GT(my hood is from one) look, but I love that style..I can't help it. I remember seeing a black one at a shop the first week I bought mine and I just kept staring at it.

I'm undecided on getting side scoops, I like them when I see them but I also like my current look and I'm afraid over decorating the car.

Let me know what you guys think.

Your car looks great. Personally, I'm not really into louvers, scoops and spoilers. I prefer my car to have smooth, clean lines. Sometimes less is more, as they say.

Lots of ideas from this thread! Here is my '14 GT Sterling... Three of my "must haves" were a glass roof, red interior, and Track Pack- so she had to be factory ordered. Took delivery in May '13, and just turned 10,000 miles!

I really love the striping scheme of the Boss 302, so I had similar stripes (substituting "GT" for "Boss" at the top of the hockey stripes) installed.

I installed a Roush splitter as an alternative to the huge Boss splitter. I would like a more open grille, but (unlike many) I actually LIKE the big round GT driving lights. I'm considering trimming/removing the section between the lights to create a unique look- or else figure out a way to install the CDC grille and relocate the driving lights to the lower grille.

I didn't mind the ride height up front, but the rear was just too high from the factory- so I installed Ford Racing P Springs in the rear only (which brings the rake to almost perfectly flat). In the future, the Brembo front calipers will be bright red (with white Bremo decals) and- when the rear pads need replaced, I'll be installing the GT500 rotors (which are 1.5" wider, you can retain the stock calipers) as well as red caliper covers in the rear.

In the rear, I disassembled and plasti-dipped the faux gas cap (black for the chrome ring, red for the "GT"), and installed GT500 ABs (which also came with a FRPP tune). In the future, the faux cap will be deleted via a carbon fiber deck panel (with a Mustang emblem like Gabe's- which just arrived today). Also, I'll be adding the Boss quad side exhaust before the year is out.

I love the Brick Red/Cashmere 401A interior, but it didn't have quite enough red for me- so I plasti-dipped the center console (standard red plast-dip matches the red interior surfaces almost perfectly). Shifting has been improved with a Ford Racing short throw (and will be further improved with the new Blowfish bracket as soon as it comes off backorder).

The glass roof was a pretty expensive option, but TOTALLY WORTH IT! It really opens up the interior (love the idea of a convertible- but I'm too OCD to ever put the top down... too much pollen, dust, etc. ).

Like I said- I love red... Here is the red dash I found on the internet (just kidding, its photopaint- but man I wish, I wish)!

Thanks- I see you had a Vapor Silver... I wish Ford still had that color (it would have matched my '65's Silver Smoke a lot closer). I suppose the red center panel isn't for everyone- but I like it (and when I've pointed it out to passengers, they thought it was a stock piece- which is the look I was going for).

Vapor silver was a great color but I like SGM way better.

From the track on Friday. No racing, just a photo shoot.
