2014 GT Premium, Track Pack

Picked up my 2014 about 4 weeks, just cleaned and ready to cruise...
I have the MGW shifter on order and plastic dipped the hood vents, looking for suggestions on mufflers that don't give you a drone!!!

Gt500 axel backs! I love them. Quiet for everyday driving and a little rumble when you lean on it.

Nice car, SGM is a great color! The gt500 axlebacks are good starters - not too loud, natural sounding. If you want to get noticed there's always roushes n borlas but I'm sure you're getting plenty attention already

Thumbs up

Car looks great, I have the same car on order.....color & track pack. Should be arriving on October 17th. One quick question; did you remove the hood vents before you plastic-dipped or just taped and sprayed? Thanks.

I'll chime in with a comment, even though that question was not directed at me... Those hood vents come out very easily. You just have to remove the hood liner that's held in with several clips, and then remove a couple of screws. I replaced my stock vents with carbon-fiber vents, and it was an easy job.

The jury is still out for me if I should have gone with gloss black instead of carbon fiber, but I still have the stock pieces if I decide to experiment.
