2011 Sterling GT w/ hushpowers and tint
Purchased my 2011 5.0 the weekend before thanksgiving and have since put some 20% tint all the way around with vinyl tint on the tailights and 3rd brake light. I'm ordering some vinyl tint to match for my side marker lights. I also have the flowmaster axlebacks and HID 5000k in my fog lights.

A LOT deeper and is louder when revving...while cruising, you can't tell a difference. These really don't make me think of what a real flowmaster should sound like, but I'm used to hearing them when I had a 2001 Bullitt with a 4.6L. These sound more like a glasspack muffler...but still sounds very good. It is one of the most popular axlebacks for the 5.0 right now.

I rented a 2011 GT a couple weeks ago for a trip to Vegas. It was AWESOME!!! It had the stone interior and with 20,000 miles on the car, the seats felt great - no signs of wear and the leather was very soft and comfortable. I thought it was a good way to see what the car would feel like after I have my own for a year or so. I was very impressed - no rattles or squeaks or weirdness - not bad at all for a beat up rental car. Still felt new.
It definitely needed a louder exhaust and a manual shifter, but it made the trip soooo much better. There was a Sterling Grey 5.0 at the Shelby Bash that rolled in and there was something different about it...not sure if it was just my eyes or the reflection from the sky, but I could swear from a distance it looked like a dark emerald pearl. When I got closer, it was definitely Sterling Grey, but there was something about it. It is my first choice when it is time for me to buy.
Congrats on an awesome car.

I only hear it in 6th gear going up a hill around 60mph...only when the music is off. I really never notice any drone though and I drive a lot of hwy driving. Just don't think you're going to get that classic flowmaster sound on the new 5.0. It sounds more like a glasspack...I miss my 2001 Bullitt's 2v exhaust sound (o/r x and super 44 flows)
