I'm looking for some help choosing colors on my new car. I've always loved Kona blue, but I'm having troubles finding the exact car I want in it. I found a car in Candy Red that is very close to what I want .I love the color when I've seen it on the car, but I've seen it on a focus a few times and it almost looks pinkish in some lights. I haven't had time to see the mustang in all lights and I'm nervous that if I buy the car I will get it home and find in some places it looks pink.

Any input would be great!

I think that Red Candy looks great in almost any light. In bright sunshine it really pops and looks better than any other red out there. In cloudy/overcast conditions it is a darker red. After sunset it is almost maroon. One colour that I never noticed was pink.

 

Never seen pink also. I have been told "thats a nice maroon Mustang you got there". I've also seen a nice gold tint under some lighting conditions.

 

I've never seen pink in it also.

Someone called it cinnamon before.

 

Awesome! Thanks for the input. The times I saw the pink was on a focus and it was surrounded by snow. I wasn't sure if the focus red candy metallic tinted was the same as the mustangs.

 

Iv'e had my Candy Red Stang for nearly 11mo.'s now, and I love it more every day I see it.
I always get compliments from strangers about how good it looks. Get it, u won't regret it!

Ok thanks, I was really concerned when I was planning factory ordering the car, but now that it's too late I should have a chance to see the color in most lights before I make a decision. I thought it was maybe the snow causing the pink look, but looking at some of your locations I would imagine you've seen your cars surrounded by snow at some point.

 

Just wanted to say thanks, I just put a deposit on a new 2012 V6 Candy Red Mustang. I pick it up in 5 days when the incentives come back on to what I want. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
