I've named my 2014 convertible

I was listening to a Kingston Trio album last night and heard the song They Call The Wind Maria (pronounced mar-eye-a rather than mar-eee-a). I decided that with the top down and the wind in my hair, that would be a great name for her. So Maria she will be.

Good luck keeping that top down in WA man. But when it's nice, it's nice. I'm originally from Vancouver, WA. Good name. My wife named mine "The Mistress".

I remember that song. In fact, I have a recording of it somewhere.

I also got my car's name from a song, although it's a horse's, rather than a woman's name. "Wildfire" by Michael Martin Murphy.

I was trying to fit a name to the car and thought "Candi" might be a good way to go but the DW nixed that pretty quick. It was worth a shot but in the end I knew it was not going to happen. It is her car so she has final say in that. However, she did not kill the whole girl car name. For the record I killed any chance of her giving it a guys name. That is not gonna happen.
