water spots?

They're Satan on Kona! I keep a coat of Blackfire wet diamond on the car. And keep it washed but that's all. She is no garage queen. I drive mine and take great care of it but I am not obsessive like I've been in the past with other cars ( ls1s, other mustangs etc). I would like to get rid of the water spots though. Thanks guys!

I don't get water spots from rain but I'm on well water that has some calcium minerals in it. So when I wash I have to immediately micro dry it or water spots from hell!

I have the crappiest hard water in the world at home. Water spots are guaranteed every wash. Forces me to polish and wax it after every wash. Keep a couple coats of wax on it to help. I'm tempted to build a water filtration system just to wash my car. There are a bunch of how too's on the net. Will probably put one on wheels to hook up just for car washes.

Yeah I've thought of that. Those kits with the crystals are pretty expensive though. No can afford...

I'm thinking of a sequence of home made carbon filters would work. Pretty sure you can buy activated carbon for pretty cheap. 4 home made PVC canisters, screens, filled with filter carbon should work. Pretty much the same as refrigerator filters.

I think I will try the filters you can get for RV or shore water lines. They are pretty much like a fridge filter.

Just gotta watch that they don't restrict too much flow.

OI 'll have to give it a try tomorrow or Monday. I didn't think the Grabber Blue would have such water spot issues.

Quick detailer spray removes water spots really easily. Quick spray, wipe off with a microfiber cloth, and the water spots are gone.
