To stripe or not to stripe? That is the question.

I just got my '12 Kona Blue Stang and I'm considering putting racing stripes on it. Can't decide what stripe color I like best.. Please post pics of your striped Mustangs!

I was debating striping mine. When I was, I was looking @ the Super Snake stripes. Mine would be in matte black.

So has any one heard that sonic blue is coming back for the 2012 mustang? It's all over the Internet, but I have called 3 different ford dealerships, and no sales people have heard of this for 2012???

It's in the brochure (and on the cover), but not available yet. Dealer thought it was suppossed to be a run 2 option, but it isn't.

Your dealer PAINTED pinstripes on?! Wow. I hope you didnt order that car to spec, cause if mine came in and they decided to 'throw in' painted pinstripes I'd probably kill someone!

My dealership got the car from another dealer for me. I didn't know about the pinstripes until I went to pick it up. When I first saw the pinstripes I just figured that they were vinyl. Didn't realize they were painted on until later. Now i don't know what to do. Should i have the dealer remove them and take a chance that they mess it up, pay a professional or just leave them alone?

Could not agree more - but make sure the ones you are looking at are the ones from the SVT option package; they are different than the "standard" Shelby GT500 over-the-top stripes. They are dynamite!
