White stripes on the Kona Blue look stunning. The tri-stripe goes perfect with the hood.

 

Ive been fighting the same thing. I love what shelby does with the stripes on the Kona Blue GT500's... they do a Grey / Charcoal Grey stripes.

I like the Grey stripes
White can look good but only if you choose the right stripes.
Black is awesome, because they dont stand out. You can see them at certain angels which can make for a mean look =)

 

I saw one with Flat black thats the way to go for me im doing flat black with the double stripes on my kona blue

 

Ghost stripes [/thread]

 

I agree Kona Blue looks great without stripes. So does black. Then again I saw some awesome-looking ghost stripes on a car or two and WOW!

 

I get alot of compliments on my kona with the white stripe. I get alot of " Is the stripe extra? I love it" ...and i do.

 

Matte Black on Kona.

For now... Trying to save up and find a body shop that knows how to properly paint ghost stripes

I have a roush sport kona blue without stripes and I like it that way if I did stripe it it would be the comp grey all the way

I don't think you could go wrong with white (see KNK above) or silver or grey. I wish I had your problem. lol

 

I had the Oxford white sport stripes. But i removed the ones on the side. They really looked out of place. I left the one on the hood though. I figured it would help it stand out. But that will all change because im getting the Saleen hood for it as soon as possible!

 

God now I am torn between Matte Black and Ingot Silver stripes. Think it is going to depend on my rims I get. If I go with Gunmental or Matte Black then I like the Silver stripes. If I go Matte Black or Gloss Black rims then I may go Matte Black stripes or Gloss Black stripes

 

Has anyone thougt of tri stripes. I.E. pewter in the middle, silver to sides or a combination of other colors ???? Let the flaming begin.

 

I was originally going to order a grabber blue with white stripes, but changed ny mind in 2 seconds when I saw a kona blue in person and bought it on the spot! I like it both ways, with or with out. Probably will just have mine custom pin striped along fender line and hood bulge in silver.

Here's what light blue looks like. One of 6 factory done. I'd prefer silver/gray or black myself if I was striping on this color.
