No, it's just confidence. I'd get it. Hell mine says BLWN DWN and I've had it a lot longer than my 500.

 

Nice. There's other one's I was thinking of but to keep with the Police Memorial plates I'm limited to only 5 letters/numbers and no spaces. I've had those style plates for a while now, not because I've gotten out of tickets(which I have) but because my dad's a retired Chicago police officer who was shot at in the line of duty years ago. I need to support it.

Finally got my windows tinted 30% all around and put the RTR's back on. I forgot how much I loved these wheels.

John, awesome d*mn pics man. Your car is s*xy as hell. Those blue stripes actually set it off quite well. And those rims are hot! Did yours come with Brembos? Wasn't sure if the roush option had the brembo brakes or not.

Thanks man! Those pics were from my parents garage where I stored the RTR's for the winter. I figured the white garage wall as a background would show the tint well. I'll have to get some better ones now that it's nice out. A couple guys in the local car club have white and red 5.0's, we're going to try and plan a little patriotic photo shoot soon. No Brembo's. The Sport is like an entry level Roush so to speak. Only appearance mods, the stage 1 is when it starts getting performance mods like suspension and brakes.

 

John lemme just say again, your tint on your kona looks hot. 30% is great. Reminds me of my car

 

I had them meter it out afterwards and it came to 27% since the glass has a light tint from the factory. I hope I don't run into any trouble since it's 3% below the allowed variation from 35%. I also had an eyebrow put on the windshield, totally worth it!

Yeah I'm sure mine is darker too man, because I had 35% put on, not sure what % tint is on OEM... so it might be slightly darker. But eh.

Put on the Roush square tips today. I have to give props to Steve from PureSpeedMotorsports, one of our TMS vendors, for giving me such a great deal and super fast free shipping. Thanks Steve!





Also added headlight tint, not sure if I like it though.





If anyone is interested in my old Roush round tips let me know.

 

John I like the square tips... It completes the roush look. Not sure on the tint of the headlights...is that legal? Be careful

Not sure about the legality of the headlight tint....or the window tint...or the front plate delete....shhhh.

I bought a full light tint kit a little while ago when I thought I wanted it, but now considering the amount of light it blocks I'll probably be removing it soon. I just hate the look of the stock headlight housing. It does look good on the marker lights though.
