New '11 Kona owner
New '11 Kona owner
While I'm not 'new' to Mustangs....I've had two classics in the past. 1966 (first car) & 1965 coupes. I recently sold the '65 and used that money towards the '11. The '66 is sitting in a barn waiting for me to get to it someday!
'11 Kona Blue GT Premium with saddle interior & 19" machined wheels.
Mods I've done so far:
White shift ****.
Windows tinted 30% front and 15% rear.
To do: GT500 or Roush axlebacks and lower the car 1".
I've just put over a thousand miles since I bought it on June 25th. I'm lovin it despite the fact I've had to take it in to the dealer twice for warranty work.
1. Had the front-end squeak problem going over speed bumps - dealer replaced the lower control arms and all is good now.
2. Fuel pump replacement - Tank would get just below half and I'd get a warning '4 miles to empty'. I ended up getting stranded on the side of the freeway and had to call Roadside Assist for gas even though there was 5 gals of gas still in the tank! DOH. Dealer changed the fuel pump and so far so good.
I've enjoyed checking out all the other Kona's on here so thought I'd join ya and brag!

I just replaced the shift **** with a white one from AmericanMuscle.com

I love the look of the metal shifter but I thought it would be hot to touch in the AZ summer.
