Well Lou, don't get bummed out, we're in the same boat, it's just that FromZto5 has mad detailing and photo taking skills that simply above reproach, without question.
I suspect that he conducts himself in similar fashion in the rest of his daily activities.------Bill

FromZto5, do you wipe your car down before you take all of these pictures, they always look perfect, but I can't see how they are not covered in dust, etc after driving them anyplace. Just wondering. Jeez, with the black, I pull out of the short concrete driveway and it seems to be covered in dust.
But luckily I haven't had to dust it off often before a shoot. Maybe a very light (be careful of swirling) weight-free (just drag the MF using its own weight) dusting I sometimes do.
As usual...VERY NICE PICS!!! My car has sat in the garage for the past 3 weeks dirty as hell. By the time I get home from work, its dark...two of the three weekends I had to be out of town...the weekend in the middle...it rained...and this weekend...back to Stillwater for OSU's homecoming. Keep up the good work!!
That is my curse forever Bill... am an engineer, and am severely OCD Although, I am proud of it. hehe.

Thanks Lou. Remember, YOU started all this, about a year ago, when I first CONSIDERED buying a pony, and deciding what color. It was YOUR car, amongst a couple others, that really swayed me to get one, esp in Kona Blue. So thank you again.
BTW, have you seen my pics of my engine bay? I installed a Steeda CAI, added some billet pieces and painted my engine and coil covers.

Bill...I will try and remember that...I was the same way 25 years ago...as I approach the mid-century mark, it gets harder to get super detailed.

I'm not going to bore you with examples of that Lou, because I think you know where I'm coming from ?
Worst case scenario, we could always pay someone to do the detailing for us, but doesn't that just kind of ruin the fun of owning a Mustang and being one with our cars ? For me it most definitely would.
I guess it just comes down to what we deem to be most important life and that inevitably changes the older we get.
That's just the way it is.......All My Best To You Lou.-----Bill

I hear you Lou. I suspect that you are still the same way, but with everything else going on in life, it's really-really hard to do.

While I would never pay for someone to clean my car as I enjoy doing it, I'd be willing to pay FromZto5 at some point to remove the few swirls/fine scratches I have in my paint!!!!!

hehe.
Yeah I do the cars of a few customers I know... since I don't do it as often I did in the past anymore (due to wife and kids), I do miss it. Wish I could do this rather than sit behind a desk

I enjoy doing it,but also do not have as much time as I used to...besides my full time job, since my wife is disabled, I do most of the house cleaning, laundry, all outside yard work, shopping, etc, etc, etc....that is one reason I have a daily driver...i have never really had to do a full wash on the stang...mainly a "sponge bath" so to speak as it has never gotten rained on etc...just gotten dusty. So I use detailing spray and or Optimum No Rinse cleaner on it. As long I as don't park next to your car mine looks like new!! Should break 3,000 miles this weekend once the rain moves out...

Ok... I guess I lied about my last set as the final set of pics for the year. I have since bought my new S Types, so I WILL drive her yet again this year and enjoy that sound before I tuck her away for the season.
Anyways, here's some new pics I took today...late fall. She was washed last week, but I never drove her. LOL. Marilyn is coated in 2 layers of souveran.
Enjoy.
Here's the HDR versions of some of the above.

My latest pics I took today, just so happens to show those sexy tips. Love me some Borla. I am SO glad I got these puppies. For you avid detailers out there, Marilyn has 3 coats of souveran, after washing and drying with FK425. Prior sealant on there is 4star UPP. I also took a better video showcasing the borla exhaust.
Pics are regular, non HDR. I didn't bother using my promaster circular polarizing filter.
