few things I did to my mustang

hi all

now that I had my car since end of august I'm still absolutely in love with it. I find it just the hottest car out there
now it was time for me to make some changes to it.

1. as I only have one car and winters tend do be cold and snowy in switzerland, I had my dealer mount bridgestone blizzaks on my brembo wheels. he especially had them shipped from the US. from what I have read these are about the best winter tires available for the mustang.

2. at the same time I also bought some really nice rims which I will use whit my pirelli summer tires. I will post pics of that in spring

3. I drove to germany on monday. having the car on the german autobahn was a blast and I could really feel it's power on this occasion. I went to a tuning shop near stuttgart where I had an SCT tune installed on my stand. that turned out great: before the tune it made 403 HP and 377 lb-ft of torque and after the tune installed it was 438 HP and 404 lb-ft. and these figures are with 95 octane. from now on I'm using 98 octane gas (as adivesed by the guys there) and with that fuel it's gonna be well over 440 HP. that's incredible! apart from that they deleted the skip shift that was really annoying me so bad and deactivated the vmax limiter...so it should be capable of like 175 mph now.

Nice!

98 octane and driving the Autobahn.....I'm jealous! Any CAI, or just a tune? Those are some good #s.

to be honest, I don't know exactly what a CAI is. I just have the SCT tune so for, but not the one that comes with 3 standard programs..I have the one that is exactly specified to the car at the tuning shop. I was also thinking of getting like a K&N filter later on.
