Hi all, new to site

Hi guys, new to the site and been hanging around another site and i see a few of the cars here are from the other site too (wilkinda). anyway, I've been looking for another good forum and this one caught my eye thanks to the GB subforum here for the greatest color ever sprayed on the flanks of a Stang. Here is my car:

stock day 1:

blower and some other goodies:

Teh car is far form done at this point. i am still on the stock wheels, but i have a set of 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 AMR Shelby redline sin gunmetal in the garage waiting for the Nitto NT05's to show up. ordered 295/45-18 for the rear and 275/40-18 for the front. i have a set of koni yellow's sitting in the kitchen the wife keeps complaining about and I plan to order the HD strut mounts, panhard bar, and steed sport springs in a few weeks. After that stuff I plan on the roush extreme exhaust and mgw shifter. After that some brake work, no BBK here just new rotors, SS lines, and dot 4 fluid, followed by an aluminum drive shaft, and headers. At that pint ill move on to some visual stuff and once the warranty expires more power! Oh those roush louvers you see in these pics are gone now, they kept falling off so i made teh dealer trade me for SHR louvers, getting them installed next Friday.

I almost went with SHR, but decided to go with the Ford Factory ones.

Are some guys experiencing the 3M attached louvers coming loose?

Yeah my roush ones came off twice and chipped the crap out of the paint. i dont htnk the dealer prepped the roush louvers correctly in my case, lots of overspray on the ridges where the tape goes. Tape stuck to the car liek crazy, just not the louvers.

How do you like your Roushcharger? Would you mind giving a little review of it on the 2010? I'm hoping to add one in the next month or two.

I like the blower a lot. it's one heck of a good price, i bought mine form Yates performance for $4300 for the kit. had it installed by a local roush parts dealer for $600 so i was under $5000 out the door. the blower is very quiet at idle, i wish it was a bit louder then. You can;t even tell with the hood closed that the car isn't stock. open the hood with the car running and you can hear a bit of whine. Jump on it and the thing screams like a termi.

People hate on the m90 on a lot of forums. Sure you can get more power from a whipple and the TVS from roush is a "better" blower. I bought ht em90 because it keep the full 36/36 factory warranty and any ford dealer can work on it. To say the car with the blower is a different animal is an understatement. the car flat screams literally and figuratively when you jump on it. i didn't get the car dynoed along with the install, it uses the same factory roush tune they use on all of the 427r's so its a very safe tune. The dealer where i bought my car is a big roush dealer and they have a speed shop. they told me they can get 450whp out of the kit with a pulley and a good tune. That's all the stock block will take anyway and i have no intentions of getting into the motor. this car will be gone in a few years and i will upgrade when the redesign comes around assuming i like it or move to a gt500.

The blower is trouble free so far and looks like it was put in the engine bay form the factory. i love the car, its a blast to drive. i have surprised more than a few folks who though it was a stock gt when i punch it and the blower starts to scream. the car pulls harder in 5th gear now than it did in 4th before. The best hing about the 380whp or so the kit is good for is that you can actually put that power to the ground. I can launch the car hard on street tires without blowing them up. that does require a lot of clutch slippage though. Turn of traction control and drop the clutch and wheel hop is a problem on the stock suspension. Still, i love the blower and you can;t beat the price for a 10. i highly recommend it. You can buy kits with more power potential, but if you want a warranty, and don't want to get into the engine this is the kit to get no matter what people will tell you about the older roots style blower.

Great car you have going there. I have a GB 3.7 on order, the build date was 5/20, so hopefully I will get it sooner rather than later. Of course I will post pics.
