Texas version of the Nürburgring

Went out for a drive with a good friend of mine. Destination, the Three Sisters. If you don't know about them, they're 3 crazy fun routes to drive out near the town of Leaky, TX. Routes 335, 336, and 337. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Breath taking views, blind corners, sweeping bends, and everything in between. If if gets too much, just slow down a little... increase your pace to turn your knuckles white. At all times keep your eyes on the road for rocks or tractors, lol. Here are just a few pics. Here is a link to the rest of the full res pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/digital...7627272606567/

That's all for now folks. I hope you enjoyed them. If you get a chance, get out there and enjoy it. If you have a GoPro, strap it on. I need one.

This was one of my first roadtrips after i put my exhaust intake and tune on. Really wanted to see how she would handle. Shocks and springs are startin to age a lil (shes an 02) but handled just fine. Breathtaking drive and ill surely be back once i get my eibach handling pack(:

Remember, my wheels are gloss piano black. They look matte black because of the 90 miles of twists and blind curves.

Did it with Awesome 2 years ago, and did it twice on Ride. Goin' again, but I'm not sure which is going, as Ride is under the weather, poor gal.

There are also 16, 39, and 1340 to consider in that area too. 6 awesome roads, all in a doable route in one day (and yes, that was done in Awesome):

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Si...-g&mra=ls&z=10

That was FUN.

/It's a yearly trip.
//Rain or shine, car or motorcycle.
///Got the T-shirt! Leakey.

Great pictures...nice scenery !
One of the nicest Mustangs I've seen... the dark accents/accessories mix well with the Silver.

I just re-connected w/a kid I went to HS with. I was looking thru his pics on FB & there was that Three Sisters logo on there. He went on a motorcycle trip is all I got from it. I now see this. I live in TX, so I mapped where Leakey is! Dad & I go to Rocksprings to hunt @ his bros ranch. That's right by it! That's just beautiful land down there!! I'd never even consider taking my Mustang, to the ranch! You turn off hwy & drive prob 20 miles on a gravel road in which you must have like 10 ply tires to drive on. Can't spell road surface, it's like glass & will shred plain tires! We learned this!

Would love to take mine down there!!! That's like 7 hrs from me? Sweet pics!

Just thought of something. We go down by right near that spot go hunt. Unless high fenced, how about white-tail, axis, & fallow deer. Then elk, aoudad sheep, tons of wild hogs, that's just what we've shot that I can think of! What happens when 1 of those crosses a road? Going to look closer @ fencing right now.

Saw 1 pic with a high fence, I know of.
