anyone paint their hood vents?

just wondering if anyone has painted their hood vents? I work at harbor freight and was thinking about getting some black auto paint and painting them. anyone have pics?

Hmm I work at harbor freight, may pick some up there! Wonder if anyone did the same with the fuel door??

with plastidip, u can just DO IT and if it looks bad it peels off. Go ahead and experiment!

I did Plasti dip. Came out great, used about 5-6 light coats. When/if it wears out I'll peel it off and actually paint them. I like the look. Plasti dip is a little more difficult to clean though.

I was thinking plastic dip was easy to clean...r u having trouble with water spots

I did not paint my hood vents.... of course I don't have any to paint Ha. I'm wondering if you can paint over the plasti dip. Much eaiser to put it back the way it was if you don't like the color

r u looking for plastic dipping the chrome horse...i tried first matte finish, then glossy... ddnt like both so peeled it off... below not my pic..
