Thumbs up Whos all ordering Black 5.0s??

Wanted to see how many people are ordering a Black Mustang 5.0??

I just had lunch in an Italian restaurant and the Waitress seen the Black with Brembo on the 2011 Brochure, and said how sexy and gorgeous of a car it is!! Nice.

I told her, I'm so confused. Inbtween Grabber Blue, Black and Red Candy.

She loved the Grabber Blue too! Cute girl! Nice taste. However, she kept saying the Black caught her eye. I agree.

I've owned 8 Black Cars. 2 Mustangs, and the Rest 87 Gorgeous Buick Turbocharged 3.8 Grand Nationals. I love Black! They are a PIA to keep clean, but when they come out clean, they're gorgeous. And nice to take to any carshow, etc

Sincerely Confused...

Black is such a nice color, but way too hard to keep clean on a daily driver.

I ordered Black with Glass Roof. I have had Black before and they are hard to keep clean. But could resist the look. Will not be a daily driver and will sit in my garage. No winters as I am Canada, just outside Toronto. Not a lot of snow here but can get sloapy.

ordered 4/23-Wonder when Canadian orders will ship!! Needs the metric crap.

So far, I am going Black also.

My decision is also based off the Stang's with the Brembo wheels so...

The question for me is what looks best with the Brembo pkg wheels?
Won't do Red, so Sterling or Kona might work out well.

I was also torn between Black and Candy Red. So I went to a local dealer who had cars in these colors literally sitting side by side.

Now I know why Candy Red is $400 more; it's because that color is simply awesome.

Red Candy, IMHO.

I say black ! Kona looks amazing in the sunlight but kind of bland otherwise imo, and ive never been a fan of reds other than torch on a mustang.

Yeah, I hear you. I seen Candy Red yesterday on a 2010 Mustang in bright sunlight and man that color looked gorgeous. The Metallic in the paint is just beautiful in bright light! Plus, metallics generally are easier to clean, look better when detailed, and are gorgeous. I had 2 metallic Dupont triple coated black paintjobs in my past on cars- 1 was Mustang, and the other Buick GNX Clone. Gorgeous, colors. The paint on my 93 Cobra was such a bear to keep clean though- I wish they had a Metallic Black PAINT!! How nice would that be!?

This was so funny... yeah, I gave her a $2 tip too

Ford does have a metallic black paint called Tuxedo Black, but they don't offer it on the Mustang.

That would make the decision easy for me then. I am a sucker for metallic black. Really wish they would release a few more colors.

I'll never buy a black car because it hides the lines of the vehicle too much, and it's a pain to keep clean. 80% of my friends that have owned a black car one time in their life say they will never do it again.

If they would make an Oklahoma Mud Red, that would be my color of choice. I live on dirt/mud roads and hate washing my cars. No way I would consider Black.

Yeah, Tuxedo Black is offered (that I know of) on the SHO (and I think the base model Taurus as well). It actually contains ground-up glass powder to give it an extra-sparkly appearance. It's pretty nifty!

It's offered on pretty much everything BUT the Mustang.

I want Atlantis Green and Pearl White too! Check out the 2011 Edge/MkX for some nice colors...
