I'm sad to see Rusty Wallace go because he still contends better then most. The fun part is trying to pick a new driver without feeling like I'm jumping onto the bandwagon. I'm thinking Dale Jr. because I like how he carries himself and he'll be around a long time, I can't stomach Gordon, and I do like (let it go people) Tony Stewart but he still has some issues.

I thought he was getting better, I was very wrong. He went to Anger Management already.

I agree..Tony definitely has some issues

I really hate to see Rusty go, but I'll probably continue to follow Newman. I'd really like to see Mark Martin win a championship before it's all said and done...that is, unless Rusty has better luck next year.

caught the end of an interview yesterday, local morning show here in Bham interveiwed Rusty and they were talking nascar in general and also about him leaving. Rusty's main reason it seems for leaving is that he wants to spend time with his family. He said this weekend, his son is racing in some bigger type race and he cant go to watch it because he has to be somewhere else wherever nascar is running this weekend and its really sadening to him. I can totally understand where he is coming from.

I bet he will stay around the sport maybe as an owner or something. Heck, you may see his son Steve Wallace in there in a few years. Rusty said his son was a great driver, just is still wet behind the ears.

I agree, Rusty will be around the sport for many years. I also think he is trying to focus more on RWI racing and his Busch car.

Dale Jr. fan here. I would love to see him win the Championship. But then again I like Ryan Newman too. He seems like a real class act.

I like Ryan also, it's tough. Junior just seems to have the good attitude but can still drive tough and mean when he needs to. At least he's able to turn it off, others aren't able to, like Tony.

Yeah, enthusiasm......I'm sure if a fine is handed down from censor police they won't call it that next time it happens.

Twice? I must have missed one.
