What a great way for Ford to start the racing season. A 1,2,3 sweep of Daytona. I hope they keep the momentum.

No it's not the Coyote, the engine run by all of the Daytona Prototypes is the RoushYates 5.0 Cammer. Here's the page that shows the cammer program (R50) that was transfered from Ford over to RoushYates.

Curious as to the branding as the "Cammer" was an SOHC.

The engine is 'out there,' but no teams have jumped to use it. There was a rumor of one team, but that rumor has seem to die. Which makes me wonder that since there has been no interest in ALMS, Grand-Am stepped in to allow the EcoBoost for the DPs.
