I'm wondering why they are designing the front wing like that, with the ends higher than the middle. The reason they are like that in F1 is to slow the cars down. The ends must be a certain height but the middle can be lower.
I think the lower cost will bring in more teams.

Yes, more passing is always a good thing. I'd also like to see more road courses that are longer. Maybe a lap that is near 5 miles. It would make the race more interesting for the drivers and tv viewers (maybe not the spectators).

Not a bad looking car. I see some resemblence to some current F1 cars, particularly the Renault. One thing that I like is that it relies more on the underbody than the wings to provide downforce, which should make for better passing. Hopefully, F1 will go with something similar. The changes should make some of the street race parades a bit more interesting, though I'd really like to see them going back to some real road courses like Mid-O, Road America, and Laguna, maybe even the new track in Utah.
