I like Carl Edwards because he's driving a Ford, but he's not cleanest driver out there. He also caused too many wrecks during his career. If he was driving a Chevy or a Toyota I'm sure he would be criticized on this forum just as much as Kyle, if not more ...

Whether Earnhardt got respect or not, he still was crashing into anyone who was faster than he was. Was he ever suspended for that? No, of course not, he's fans favorite, they can't suspend him. On the other side, Busch is not very much liked with the public, so who cares if NASCAR suspends him for something that they never suspended other drivers for, right?
Hornaday got what he deserved on Friday. I guess he thought since he's fighting for a championship he can push anyone around him and they won't push back because ... well, because he's fighting for a championship. Maybe Busch was little too harsh, but like I said, he got suspended for something that so many popular drivers got away with.

Hornaday had a slow moving car in front of him and he moved to the right and drove Kyle to the fence.

People can hate Kyle Busch as much as they want for whatever reason they want to. The kid is still the most talented driver in NASCAR. He already has the most wins in the Nationwide series and he's only 26 years old. And last year he won 24 races in three major series (Sprint, Nationwide, Truck).
I like him simply because nobody else does and he still doesn't let that bother him.

I think Kyle is one of the best drivers, but something screwy is going on in that head of his. There is nothing wrong with wanting little "payback" if it may be deserved, but be selective about it. Do it on a restart or after the race, but not under the caution while driving at speed. That's the difference with reference to circumstances in the past. I can't think of an incident that happened "at speed" under the caution for an unintentional incident.
And in regards to Dale Earnhardt . . . didn't he "obtain" his nickname after he won a couple championships? And he wasn't very well liked at the beginning of his career because of his aggressive driving. But he understood the bigger picture and, again if memory serves, was a bit more selective about his incidents.

So Edwards' lead is down to only 3 points with 2 races to go after Stewart won at Texas yesterday.
Both drivers ran well yesterday finishing 1-2.
I'm feeling pretty good about this especially because the last race is at Homestead Miami where Roush has won 7 out of last 9 races. Edwards has 2 wins there (the last one last year), but so does Stewart (the last one in 2000).

This is going to be a crazy last couple of races. If they can both keep their cars out of the wall, I feel like its going to come down to who wins Homestead.

That's one thing I need to do before I die is shake Richard Childress' hand for that.
