Roush sport mods

Not wanting to lay out a ton of money getting a SC, I've been pondering going boss 302 intake with a bbk 85mm TB this way I can still SC in future any thoughts, comments, concerns. My thought are wanting in a way to keep all roush or not does it matter?

Lol. I think I talked to you before here. I have #2. I've been contemplating the same thing for mods. I wanted to keep everything Roush but started going a different route. But everything I've done can easily be put back to original. I want a procharger, but might end up going with the Roush. From what I've read, a larger TB is no use unless you go FI.

I have a Stage 2 Vert. The intake is nice but I didn't want to lose TQ for the HP gains, so I went with LT headers, and O/R X-pipe. I also got a tuner and 3.73 gears(**** verts). The power is very noticeable and the sound is loud but amazing. Keeps everything looking Roush and will work with any supercharger.

YES! It sounds about the same, just louder. I was afraid the LTs and X-pipe would change that unique Roush sound.

That's good info! I've been wanting to start with an x pipe and then lt's when I go FI. Any vids or sound clips? I haven't found any decent ones yet.

Sorry for the highjack op!

I hear ya. I was tempted to get the TVS last weekend. There were some good sales and some places even offered financing with no payments for 12 months. My fiancée would've booted me and I'd be living in the car.

You're a lucky man! I know if mine was auto I'd probably get stuck with her Focus some days.
