Roush RS3
Looking forward to this one

Roush has released a single image showing the fender of an upcoming Mustang called the RS3, presumably an acronym for “Roush Stage 3.” The image comes with the tag line Detroit Muscle | Redefined. The current Roush lineup includes Stage 1 and Stage 2 models, as well as the Sport and 5XR.
Previously, the Stage 3 model has been Roush’s highest performing Mustang, and it’s likely the RS3 will hold this spot as well. Currently the 5XR is at the top of the range, featuring Roush’s supercharger system good for 525 horsepower and 465 lb-ft torque, upgraded suspension system and various exterior and interior changes. The RS3 could either offer more extensive upgrades compared to the 5XR, or more likely, replace the 5XR in the Roush lineup.

I'd love to own this Roush. They're built down the street from me, I know people who work there, I've even met Jack Roush a few times. Problem is you this RS3 will be very close to, if not at or above $60,000. That's just too much money for a car I can't drive all year and not-to-mention priced too close to the Shelby.

The problem with Roush Mustangs is resale value. There is no "Roush" category in the wholesale guides. I love the 2010 Stage 3, but I ultimately went with the GT500 because they hold their value against original MSRP much better than the Roush. The wholesale market seems to view Roush Mustangs as regular GTs. A 60k Roush is worth 30k or less in two years, where a GT500 with the same MSRP is still holding 40k+. Now, if you really plan to buy one and keep it forever, there is no downside to buying a Roush.
