I hate having to pay extortionists.

I trust you didn't make your wife climb out through the soaking wet tree?

Enjoy!

That would be sweet. The build day was 09/05/11. When was that picture taken?

Three weeks earlier, on Aug 17th.
It is really neat to see a GT500 get is engine! No mistaking what car is coming when you see the engine there and ready!

Not that crazy.. I think.

There's a plan in progress. Retirement will take place within three years and figured I get the '12 GT500 and have it paid for by then. Add x-plan, getting 73 cents on the dollar for the Bullitt which was paid, some cash in hand plus 2.29% interest rate, the uncertainty of the next high performance generation Mustang, and the difficult decision to part from the Bullitt was a no brainer in my case. I considered getting a Boss 302 and keeping the Bullitt but scratched that thought after I did some soul seaching on what I really like. The '11 GT500 is the first Mustang (other than the '04 Cobra for its time) I've had which I feel was not short changed in any categoty which led to the decision while I had the opportunity.

Perhaps my retirement present will be a low mileage garage queen Bullitt or '04 Cobra if I can find one.
