Will the GT500 be available in Yellow Blaze?

Wondering if anyone knows? I think, now that I am out of the market, I will be picking up a used 2011-2012 GT500 in a couple years. It will be either Sterling Gray or Yellow Blaze if it's available. Would also consider Atlantis Green too, but I doubt Ford would make me that happy.

Anyways, if I go with Sterling Gray, I think I would turn it into a sort of Eleanor tribute car, but only on the inside (Sterling with black stripes would be good enough on the outside). I have thoughts of recovering the seats with weathered brown leather with factory white stitching and the same with the door panels (aping the 401A panel design). Possibly thinking about replacing the alumnium dash/steering wheel panels with a matte finished burlwood too, but I know not too many purists here would like that. I think if done right, with high quality wood, it could come out nice.

If Yellow Blaze isn't available, that will be my choice, but if YB is available, I will have a tougher time deciding!

I wouldn't count on Yellow Blaze. Normally the GT500 is not offered in all the available Mustang colors.

Yeah I am thinking the same. It isn't available in Candy Red, which you have to pay extra for, so I'm thinking it won't be available in YB either. But who knows, it was available in Grabber Orange, but there hasn't been a Yellow color available since 06 before the GT500 came out...

a Yellow Blaze GT500 would be so sexy. Yellow Blaze with black side stripes.

Yeah has to be YB with Black stripes, although I think Sterling or Kona stripes might work too. If you're a Navy/Cal/Michigan man haha. But Yellow Blaze is going to be a premium color, like Red Candy. I don't see them making a $400 paint option on the GT500, but I guess we'll see...

Neither one was a good seller for SVT products.

Pretty much. Most GT500s are Black, White, Red, or Blue. With Grabber blue being the only popular eccentric color.

I like non-popular colors. And I would think those who think the GT500s will one day be collectibles, will too...
