That is really what you wanted to do? Just write a check for it. I'm sure that you may make a lot of money on it (or not). You should just have fun with it and forget about any future appreciation.

How many the dealers sell is irrelevant. The less they sell the more that will be sitting on lots when the '14's come out, which means rebates and discounts...and this means the price on the 13's is deflated.

Ford will build 5k+ of these cars and that's the only number that matters.

I just wanna get my 13 before they announce the next body style in the middle of next year!
