Super Snakes, GT350's, etc. Post title conversions. The last pre-title car they did was the Shelby GT. All GT500s roll off the Ford assembly line just like you see them at the show room.

I wouldn't mind having one, but for 70-80 thousand dollars, I'll pass.

Thanks for the compliment. I wish you'd be right in your assumption but a few hints should clarify any doubts.

My first car was a used 1965 Plymouth Barracuda S Formula perceived to be sort of a special edition in its day which its time frame coincided with Ford telling Shelby to pack it up his hat, hasta la vista chili, and don't let the door hit you on the way out which by a rare chance also happened to coincide with the introduction of the 1969 Boss 302 which Ford figured would be its future marquee performance model and would not have the need to put up with any more crap from Mr. C but miscalculated on projected demands due to unforseen circumstances and ever changing worldly attitudes towards our cherished pony cars.

The world is full of coincidences, isn't it?

BTW, the Barracuda's double point system was ingenious on pepping it up but their longevity sucked big time, enough to carry spares in the glove compartment. Do you think there are many young bucks around this joint who can tune their babies with points and condensers?

Well you know, you beat Ferrarri, and you get the fame and the check from Ford.

Yep. It's good looking though. I never was a fan of the GT 500 since they first came out. A little too much going on. Would have to strip it down some. I still just might. I gots to have a aluminum sc 5.4.

Nope. We convert that crap to HEI and fuel injection. I have loaded a few condensers up and tossed them to buddies in the shop though.

the plastic 6-pack holder ring was the perfect thickness for setting the points gap on my 1970 250cid ("the big six!"). Didnt need no stinkin feeler gauge.

Many wondered what the WTH I was talking about during the introduction and subsequent production of the '07 GT500 when CS contributed to extending ADMs by supporting dealers instead of the fans who had supported him, his products, protected his legacy, and kept the flame alive for many years exclusively for his benefit.

Its president and I had a few less than cordial exchanges enough for this board to be adviced of a likelyhood of legal action if I was not put on a leach. Unfortunately for them there were no copyright infringements... or malicious slander specially when the individual's own words and actions were abundantly documented and recorded. There was enough material to write an unauthorized biography, perhaps a best seller. In essence their request for cencure outside their jurisdiction apparently was denied, thankfully. The bad guys lost. I thought the entire episode was hilarious since context of my comments could neither be disputed or refuted... AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!

Yes, I was too was a fan before CS decided to turn on his base, given his history it should not have come as a surprise. Not only did he lose a fan, he lost my respect.

This thread has gone a lot better than I had expected. Springsteen is still the boss though.
