Thumbs up Shelby CS1 Wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires

Shelby CS1 Wheels and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires on my 2011 GT500.

Shelby CS1 gunmetal wheels 20x9 front, 20X11 rear with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires 275/35ZR20 front and 295/35ZR20 rear. These tires should have been the ones used from the factory instead of Goodyear in my opinion. These tires are a day and night difference when compared to the Goodyear F1 G2 tires. Very smooth ride, handling is awesome!

I agree that it should come with PSSs, the GYs are terrible. Looks good!

good looking wheels. Nice staggered configuration. Tires are cool too, especially with the checkered flag on the sidewall.

Actually been thinking about that and saw some for the 2005-2009 but haven't seen them for the 2010 and up. I would guess they are the same but didn't want to spend money on them without knowing if they are the same emblems or not.

I like the red cobra look on yours. If I may ask, where did you purchase your red cobra emblems? I saw a few on eBay and on CJponyparts

Did you replace the grille emblem or only the fender emblems?

Thanks
George

I had replaced the "set (2 fender emblems, 1 grille emblem)" when I did mine. In addition I purchased the Chrome/Red "SHELBY" trunk emblems. I got mine on E-bay.

Those look awesome! Great looking car overall. I really like those wheels & tires. Michelin PSS tires will probably be my next set. Although expensive, many drivers tell me how great the tires are overall...looks, handling, very strong sidewall, and a 300 tread wear rating! Let us know how they handle.

Won't those 11 inch rear hold 315's? I was thinking of getting the cs1 wheels and get 315 PSS tires on the rear for my 2014 gt500. Anyhow the car looks great! I hate the stock gy tires.

Wheels look great!! Although they might be a PITA to clean. Do you have any angled shots to show the concave?

11" rear wheels will hold 315s. I have 315/30/20 Toyo 888's on the back and they fit like a glove. I don't think the wheel well will allow anything wider than that without modification, though.

I believe we are putting something similar on for our next set of tires also. Can't have too much rubber on the road.
