seriously. The GT350 is the same as buying a GT and putting on the FRPP suspension and supercharger kit. I can't believe they aren't even trying to hide it! One big difference is THAT car would be better looking and alot less expensive.

Except for the hood is really nice and they (visually) got rid of the god awful 10/11 diaper.

Do the GT350s with the superchargers use the 5.0 Coyote pistons and rods? I have been looking for info on this but have not seen much. If I were building a 600+HP engine from the 5.0 I would replace the pistons with lower compression pistons and swap for forged rods. Something like this: http://mustangsdaily.com/blog/2010/0...nnecting-rods/

of course. When your goal is to slap together something and maximize profit, the way to do this is to just throw existing parts on a GT.

To make a long story short, I loaned it against my better judgement and proved to be a mistake on my part. Two weeks later it was not the same and you would not want to have it. It is difficult for me to say no but it was a eye opening experience nevertheless.

R.I.P... Sorry to hear. She was a beaut!

LMAO, like the "R" tune is something they did...it's just the higher boost tune (and pulley?) from the standard kit FRPP offers.

I seriously doubt that the 5.0 will be able to take that 600+ HP for very long. But time will tell.

I'll agree with you on that. But, anyone that can afford a GT350 and a blower kit can probably afford a new forged shortblock when the stock one lets go.

Probably, but there are a lot of GT owners who might want to add that blower to their ride and they might get an unwanted surprise.
