Replacement air filter

I was just at my ford dealer exchanging a Boss oil and air filter for the ones that will fit my Shelby.

Now either I need to find a new dealer or a new place to buy consumables because he told me $110 for the stock replacement air filter!!

What are you guys using and where do I get it?

Yea, thanks. I did find one from Shelby for less than the ford brand.

I have plenty of time before I really need one and would prefer to use a non oiled version. I have an air raid on my wife's diesel truck and id rather not have the hassle of oiling one on my car.

Full POP MSRP on that filter is $100.93. It's unfortunate the Dealer did not take the opportunity to offer a decent discount on that. It's a no brainer as far as I am concerned. Now they have lost a Customer and left a bad taste in your mouth to boot. When these came out in 2010 I actually did a PRICE OUT OF LINE CHECK to FORD but to no avail. Actually I complained about a lot of parts prices with only some results.

I agree. I have a coupon for a free oil change when the time comes so we'll see if they get friendlier with the prices. If not then I'll only be going there for warranty issues.

On the plus side I got an oil filter for like $9
