I ordered one this morning and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on this site for the input and insight into these cars. After grinding out all the option choices in my head, I ended up ordering all business. SVTPP, TP, Q and for a little fluff, added the 971 car cover. Told me about 8 weeks.

 

Hey Eric, congrats!!! Your gonna LOVE IT!!! I just got my 1st order serialized and scheduled for production this past Friday. Hope your wait isnt' too long. I dunno about 8 weeks. I've told people to expect anywhere from 8 to 12+ depending on how long the QC holds are. BTW, that color did you go with?

The manager did say at LEAST 8 weeks, but its all good, I've learned patience in my life and it has paid off so far. In this case, waiting to buy a 2013 turned out a wonderful surprise.

 

You might want to extend your expectations to about 12 weeks. These cars are just now being picked up by the production lines and allocation is all over the place. You might get lucky, but better a pleasant surprise if it comes earlier than you expect than disappointment if it comes later.

Hey bud, I haven't heard of anything, nor has anything been told to us from the Ford dealer site. I don't know if they will since they never did before for the GT500s. You never know.

 

Got the window sticker this morning, been looking it over. No idea how to see the build day on it, but its a step forward. I can feel the perma-smile building.

 

Wow Kabooka, way to go Sir. That sure is one heck of a color combination. It's going to be fantastic to say the least.

The build day won't be on the sticker since it's generated about a week before the process starts and could change at any time. If you don't have any other info, give me your vin and it can be looked up.

 

Build date is on the window sticker. It is Blend Date in the upper left side of the Sticker.
