New Shelby Coming Monday Night!
Sorry, but besides the Shelbys I also find the Roush, Steeda, etc. tuner specials all to be grossly overpriced. I don't think any of them will be huge collector hits in the future either, they just made too many of them. With all the outstanding Ford and aftermarket resources available for the Mustang, just build your own special edition exactly like you want it then spend the rest of the savings on gas to enjoy driving the heck out of it!
Think about the target market. Unveiling at Barrett-Jackson caters to the grease mark critique crowd. Let them have their fun and spend their $$$ on something that will sit in a garage. Not me.
The new 5.0 does it for me way more than this. Like everyone has said this is just another Mustang for Shelby to line his pockets with and will be overpriced and marked up to no end at the dealer.
I'm far more interested in the working man's Mustang.
If the technology trickled down to the GT500 and the GT then that would be cool. Kind of like a test bed, but it's not.
I simply just don't care. The only thing that might interest me is if it does have IRS, how does it perform compared to the GT, and a track modified GT. That's about it. Sorry.

). Other than that, 69-70 Machs and Boss cars are the only classics that interest me.That being said, if this car does have unique sheetmetal, then I am interested in seeing it no matter what it costs. I would love to see this new body style in white/navy blue stripes like the classic GT-350.
I am looking forward to seeing it. But I do agree with most here. Lets face it, Shelby has issued so many special edition Mustangs, that I doubt future collectability value. A 2011 GT optioned correctlly might just be the best performace buy in the history of American cars
I really used to like Shelbys, but I lost a lot of respect for everything over the GT500. Shelby ruined SVT.
Not sure if anyone else is going to be there but I will get some shots of it and try to post it up quick...Shelby is sponsoring the opening night Gala and that is where they are un wrapping it Monday night.

Even though I don't see the value in them, I still can appreciate Shelby and other tuner Mustangs as the thoroughbreds they are. Heck, I don't even mind all the Mustang IIs, V-6s and even the four popper Mustangs of the past because the sales of them are what made all the LX 5.0s, GTs, Cobras and Mach1s possible in the first place.
In reality, the factory performance Mustangs have been just that for more than the last quarter century!

Well, there's a white 2011 GT mule been spotted around Shelby's facility, so hopefully a tuned Coyote
