Visually I don't like the tall look of it.

the painted grounding trim does make the car look larger, compared to the black moulding...even if you don't like the way it looks.
Rear on this looks way too tall for me. and I do NOT like that rear.... yikes.

I give it a thumbs up. A+ for the design and originality, B- for the quality fit and finish.

Would I buy it? Absolutely! And I can guarantee if Amy would know she would have a heart attack... instantly!
lol, clean? A bullitt is clean, this thing has tacked on GROUND EFFECTS, retarded striping, the nastiest wheels I have seen in a looonng time and to add insult to injury, they slapped a supercharger on it and some frpp suspension parts and called it a GT350.

I'm a little baffled why they didn't integrate the pods into a new A-pillar...oh wait I just realized why...because exposed sheet metal screws look so much better.

The only tack parts of the body kit is the rear spoiler and it matches well. The front rocker panels, front and rear facias appear to be replacement parts.

Saleen and Roush ground effects are clean as well as opposed to a Stalker body kit.

Much ado about ... not much.

Hope it doesn't turn out to be a Jay-Leno-at-10PM deal.

Well being a Lotus fan, I'd never slam anyone for incorporating ground effects! - that is if they work and just aren't appearance pieces.

Assuming they are real, perhaps the front air dam is so loud on purpose based on wind tunnel/track testing. After all, the GT350 is supposed to shine as a handler...

We ordered a GT350 for a regular customer of ours today who is at Barrett-Jackson all week. His car works out to $69K (X-plan on our '11 GT + the $34K SAI cost).

Honestly Shelby should have used a 2011 V6, installed a supercharger, Brembos, Roll Bar, Recaros and Track Pac w/sticky tires. That would be closer to the original GT350...400+HP,lightweight(relatively), great handling(close to 50/50 weight distribution), FAST and more affordable (40,000 or so).

And to top it all off, you still get that UGLY rear mounted antenna. How's that for a turn off.

So do these cars start life as a GT with the "Tuner" package?

I would rather one of these over the new GT350.

No "tuner" package or code since this is a "post-title" conversion. I just ordered his '11 GT built with the options our customer wanted (there are some items you can't get. i.e. glass roof, rear spoiler, brembo pkg, factory stripes, etc.) and entered Shelby's "ship-to" code so that the Ford factory would ship it to Shelby and not to us. He pays us for the '11 GT and then he pays Shelby seperately for their conversion of his "used" GT.
