Hey everyone

I just wanted to give everyone an update. The ford dealership was able to reproduce my problem. They contacted Ford hot line and are removing the transmission to see what parts are needed to fix it. While in for the transmission problem, they notice that the supercharger belt tensioner bearings where going. So they order that part to but it is on back order which might mean that other GT 500 are experiencing the same problem. So I am hopeful that I will have my baby back next week sometime.

Just a quick update.

Still waiting for all the parts to come in. Being in Canada, most of the parts are from the US. they are hoping to have it all done late next week. It is now going on three weeks without the Shelby and with all the great weather we are having and my car is stuck at the shop.

I just got a new toy, 2011 Kona Blue Shelby GT 500 with 29000 km. It has always been my dream to own a Shelby GT 500.

I am having two issues with it.

1) My iPhone 6 and sync are not working properly. The only thing that is not working is the txt messaging. Yes i have reset both my phone and my sync as per the instruction that I found one the forum. One thing that i have noticed is that i don't have the option to turn on the notifications under the sync menu. Yes my phone is up to date. I don't know how to check this or even update it.

2) I am having same 1st to 2nd gear grind and sometimes not able to even shift in to 2nd. RPM or engine temperature as no affect. I have looked for the tsb on this issue but haven't been able to find it. Any help with this would be appreciated. Yes my car it still under factory warranty until 12 july 2015.

I live in British Columbia, Canada if this helps.

My new toy after a complete detail
And here I thought it was going to be something really good .... j/k Sweet ride dude! Congrats..

Well I got My Shelby back. Transmission was done. I also put a new clutch in while it was apart. The dealership only charged for parts as the all ready had it apart. They treated me great, they did everything they could to find the intermitting problem. Once found, they ordered the parts which took the longest as most parts were not in stock and had to be ordered from different depots though out the US and Canada. Once they had all the parts it only took a couple of days to put it back together and the tech came in on his day off to get it to me soon. Everything was covered under warranty but the clutch kit. It was really nice to find a dealership that had great service.

American Muscle is pretty reasonable. But call your Ford dealer and see what they can do for you.

...and these to correct the lower control arm geometry...

It is exactly the stance and performance I was looking for.

Nice one.

Both of your GT500's are to die for.
When i see that Gabber blue in the sun it looks wet and amazing.
That kona blue is deep and sensuous too.
Then turn on the engines and well...no more words

Darren I really like the Dark Ink Blue on your GT as well as the korona blue on Troy's GT500.
