Great car" "I hope you're driving one in Heaven right now, because I'm in car guy heaven, right here" even the brakes "A little smoke never hurt anybody....oh that's minor......just don't breath it" lol.

Also Randy Pobst, the driver, said he hated the Camaro's understeer. And "I think that, really, with a brake upgrade the Mustang's gonna be the better car for track work and probably on the street too....it's more balanced" ($300???) brake upgrade http://www.tpsmotorsports.com/mustan...ront-only.html

I wonder if Ford put "do it yourself" cooling ducts in the 13 GT500. If I remember correctly the 2008-09 GT500KR had a do it yourself duct kit that came in the trunk of the car. The same can be said of the 2003-04 SVT Cobra, many people have converted the ducts near the fog lights in brake cooling ducts. Perhaps this will be an update for the 2014 GT500?

I like the slugger vs. boxer metaphor much more than Car & Driver's gorilla vs. thoroughbred one. Yes the Shelby is quicker, faster and at least on the Grattan racetrack, the ZL1's equal. GM hit a grand slam with its magnetorheological shock. Hell if Ferrari is using them under license maybe Ford should too. With upgraded suspension, the motoring press would have to give it to the Shelby FTW.

Ford guys will always choose the Mustang. Chevy guys will always choose the Camaro. No magazine is going to change that; no matter WHAT their reviewer says.

I think that the magazine guys write these reviews with so much contradictions so we all have something to talk about when drinking beer in the garage!

When driving, I like the A-pillar in my peripheral vision, not intruding in my direct line of sight. I like to see cars to the left of me at intersections. Camaro A-pillar size & location on the driver's side is a dangerous joke.
